About Wild Symphony

Are you ready for a wild adventure?

"Wild Symphony" is a unique musical project by acclaimed author Dan Brown, known for his bestselling novels. Brown composed "Wild Symphony" as a whimsical orchestral adventure that introduces children to classical music through an engaging story featuring animals. Each piece of music corresponds to a different animal, offering both educational and entertaining elements. Brown created "Wild Symphony" to inspire a love for music in young audiences while emphasizing themes of teamwork, kindness, and the beauty of the natural world.

Embark on a journey of discovery and friendship with Wild Symphony, an interactive picture book and live concert experience detailing the adventures of Maestro Mouse and his companions from the animal kingdom. Fusing family-friendly sounds and pithy poetry with a positive message, Wild Symphony is an immersive feast for eyes, ears, and mind — all at the same time.

Travel through the trees and across the seas with Maestro Mouse and his musical friends! You’ll meet a big blue whale and speedy cheetahs, tiny beetles and graceful swans. Each has a special secret to share.

Featuring nearly two dozen musical portraits drawn from the animal kingdom, Wild Symphony, from the mind of #1 New York Times best-selling author Dan Brown, springs to life off the page and on stage. From the joyous rhythms of “Bouncing Kangaroo” to the mysterious melodies of “Wondrous Whale” to the hair-raising harmonies of “Brilliant Bat,” this is a very wild symphony indeed.

About Dan Brown

Dan Brown is a renowned American author, best known for his gripping thrillers that blend history, art, and science with intricate conspiracies. His most famous work, "The Da Vinci Code," became an international bestseller and was adapted into a successful film series. Brown's novels, characterized by fast-paced narratives and profound themes, have captivated millions of readers worldwide. Beyond his literary achievements,

Brown is also a composer and philanthropist, deeply committed to education and the arts. He created "Wild Symphony" to inspire children through music and storytelling, reflecting his passion for fostering creativity and learning in young minds.

A message from Dan Brown

Long before I wrote stories . . . I wrote music. My parents were both musicians and teachers, and I grew up practicing classical piano, singing in choirs, and attending LOTS of concerts. Music was a secret sanctuary for me as a child. It calmed me when I felt frustrated, was a trusted friend when I felt lonely, helped me express my joy when I was happy, and, best of all, sparked my creativity and imagination. Even now, I play piano every day—usually after I finish a long day of writing.

Music is a kind of storytelling, and the twenty-one orchestral movements in WILD SYMPHONY—combined with their accompanying poems and illustrations—all work together (like a code, of sorts!) to tell a story . . . and reveal a funny or interesting side of an animal’s personality. If you listen carefully, you might be able to find each animal hiding in the music. Even better, every animal in this book will share with you a simple moral . . . a fun collection of “secrets to life” that will help you on your way.

I hope you have as much fun experiencing WILD SYMPHONY as I had creating it.

Sincerely,

Dan
